Big
City OrchestraOur guest for this week's Sound Of Plaid radio show is Matthew Bate of Closer Productions in Australia!  He's a documentary filmmaker who's current project is "Shut Up Little Man: An Audio Misadventure", a title familiar to our regular listeners who've appreciated the recordings of Raymond & Peter.  Bate's previous work with Plexus Films includes "What The Future Sounded Like" featuring early electronic music from Tristram Cary, whose music we played on last week's show.

In honor of Matthew's visit we'll pull out a number of rare found sounds and home recordings, including The ECC's discovery of Mic-In-Track recordings during early Napster days, thrift-scored cassettes, and many more previously unheard bits!

Many chances to hear the show, and if you can't make the times below, you can hear it at The Sound Of Plaid Archives later in the week.
