Ever wanted to try your hand playing our instruments like the Thimbletron or the VidiMasher 3000? Here's your chance!
This Saturday TradeMark and Frilly will show off the Evolution Control Committee's arsenal of secret weaponry for the Connector Series at the Columbus Museum of Art. We're honored that the CMA Center For Creativity picked us for the very first of the series, and we won't disappoint: for the first time ever we're inviting the general public to play with the gear with which we've performed hundreds of concerts worldwide. We'll even have brand new installations set up as well, including the Wiimote Pillow Fight, the Kinect Theremin, and (shown here) the Object Turntable.
TradeMark's Playhouse will be open this Saturday only! Don't miss it!

Hello, Austin Texas: Although we've never managed to make a show happen there, it seems Austin already has a taste for our brand of evolved mashups -- or soon will. That's thanks to KAOS Radio Austin over-active DJ Slander Bob, who selected The Evolution Control Committee to feature on his 12/13/09 Artist Showcase -- 2 hours amidst an astonishing 14 hour shift (!) he fills starting early Sunday mornings. The feature airs 3AM-5AM CST early Sunday, December 13, 2009 -- just a few hours from now -- so we're hoping those who miss it will be able to listen or download it from the show's archives after it airs.
He certainly did his homework -- we offered him brand new unreleased tracks from our upcoming album, and he'd already gotten them! Now that's our kind of radio show host...
Trademark Gunderson aka Trademark G. The inventor of The Mash-up, The Thimbleton, and The Wheel of Mashup.
You'll hear some of The Evolution Control Committee's classic tracks and well as some rarities. Snippets from some of Trademark's radio projects, spinning some of his favorite tunes as well explaining the methods of his musical madness and songs from his alter-persona DJ Pantshead. Mixed by and edited by Slander Bob.
Check out his weekly radio show " The Sound Of Plaid" every Tuesday over @
