For this show we take Talking Heads' advice and Stop Making Sense with two hours of Meaningless Music! Senseless songs with lyrics ranging from made-up languages (Simlish, Cocteau Twins) to outright nonsense (Shooby Taylor, Mike Patton) -- songs that sound like they mean something, but don't.

The Sound Of Plaid episode 2014.03.17: Special Guest Titonton Duvante
On this show we welcome electronic musician, DJ, producer, and composer Titonton Duvante for a long overdue interview. Considering our great interview with Ed Luna (2013.05.20) revisiting Columbus Ohio's early days of electronic music and techno, it's high time that we drag in the members of the seminal band Body Release to speak for themselves. Mike Textbeak will be the next, but first up is Tintonton in advance of his live PA at the Future Maudit show March 28 (2014).

...through a multifaceted career as a composer, recording artist, producer, remixer, record label owner and DJ, Titonton Duvante continues to evolve creatively. As a DJ known for blurring the boundaries of electronic music genres, Titonton deconstructs, blends and rebuilds beats with his special brand of funky turntablism.
