We got a request to repost this track (thanks Sarah!), a mashup from 2002 mixing the vocal track from The B-52's "Love Shack" over what would later be known as the soundtrack to Yacht Rock.
Personally, I'm not so crazy about this track now in 2009. In 2002 mashup was poised to hit big in the UK, and Love Shag was a rather hasty effort to keep our name in the 2nd gen mashup scene, since we'd largely left the basic mashup style behind us years prior. Since then we've done many much more inspired (and much better mixed) mashup tracks, such as the uncanny Stairway to Britney and the insanely dense Pwn Monkey. Nonetheless, we hate to turn down a request, so here it is -- listen below or download it.

It was a rocky start with near-crippling problems with the shoutcast linking our remote feed to FCC Free Radio's studio, and we gave one more attempt after giving up and made it work -- phew!
